Prep work today for staining tomorrow based on the weather forcast. Trying to stretch it out for another year before replacing wood “again”
Near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for the absent Abner the Eager. It's cold and very windy, and rain is on the way, so I don't know when I'll see Abner. Hope I can get a set of walks in before the rain comes.

On the menu for this morning was a new (to me) blend by G. H. & Co. called Grasmere Flake loaded in my MM Country Gentleman with a forever stem. The flake was pretty moist so I let it sit out for about an hour. In hindsight, I may have aired it out a little too much but nevertheless I really enjoyed this blend.
On the recommendations from some kind folks on this forum, I look forward to exploring more aro blends from G. H. & Co. in the future.

Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem.
This kinda looks Mr. Peanut. The flap of the pouch is the hat brim, the pipe bowl is his monocle, and the tamper is his cane

Polished off Blend 52 yesterday, now all that's left from my two LJP burley sampler packs (aromatic and non-aromatic) are "No Name" and "Blend 102".
I'm really liking this one so far, it might even be my most favorite of the bunch.
