Now smoking year 2022 unreleased Sutliff Brown Virginia Flake in a 1920s medium bend smooth dark brown BBB Umbra bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem with an orific bit. All the ferals are fed. Daisy the Feral Princess had a good day from what I can tell. She's slept most of the day, but is happy when she's gotten attention.

That looks like the push stem World War II era. I have a 5122. They are coveted by myself because I really prefer push stems to stingers they just don't turn up very often
So it is a push stem now but not originally. If my dating is correct is was pre-WWII (31 to 38 I think) and had the large 4 hole stinger. It was totally mangled when I got it, no stinger, messed up stem and generally in bad shape. I converted it to a push stem as part of restoration.

Not today but last night I had a bowl of C&D Bayou Morning in a Peterson Aran Dublin, its a nice looking pipe but I feel like I'm not doing something right in it cause I cant seem to get it to smoke great. The flavors that I got from this blend in other pipes arent as apparent, maybe I'm one of those weirdos who dont like p-lips. I dunno I'll need to do more experimenting.

I smoked the Peterson Sherlock Holmes "Hudson" pipe I bought for my 70th. birthday, nine years ago, and shared my birthday celebration today with my ZOOM buddies. I had a bowl of (you guessed it) Samovar. A mug of Jack Daniel's Tennesse Whisky Coffee was my beverage.
Now I'm off for a dinner with my family.

Caught some live music at the Black Stump this afternoon. It’s a lovely old cabin style hall a couple of miles from home which is very cosy with Chesterfield lounges and chairs and a roaring log fire in the winter, just a great place to relax and enjoy the show. I sat outside for a bit and had a lovely bowl of 507 with a locally pressed apple cider, doesn‘t get much better than that. Artist was Andrew Swift, if you like country he’s worth a look on iTunes etc……Andrew Swift on Apple Music - https://music.apple.com/au/artist/andrew-swift/269827452
