Did a set of walking reps on this warm, sunny day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. An off diet lunch is in the making.

Some of you will remember David Cuneo whose screen name was Dmcmtk. He passed away this past October. I wrote this tribute to my great and wonderful friend: David Cuneo A.K.A. Dmcmtk Has Passed Away. :: General Pipe Smoking Discussion - https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/david-cuneo-a-k-a-dmcmtk-has-passed-away.107196/

Today, his sister sent me a gracious number of his pipes (Barlings, Comoy’s, Sasienis, Petersons, a Dunhill, and a few Danish pipes). She sent me plenty of tobacco as well. They will be well cherished, and taken care of.

Enjoyed four cheeseburgers with a third of a pound of beef in each one, a little rocky road ice cream, a few oatmeal raisin cookies, and a Snap Dragon apple lunch. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Tomato the Brave showed up to eat, and he's back outside enjoying the weather. I'm trying to decide how to go start cataloguing all the pipes I got today. They'll all need cleaning, but I'll worry about that after I have information on them.

Trying out Gawith Hoggarth #7 Broken Flake for the first time, in a Falcon Extra. puffy

What I'm coming to learn is that I think I just simply don't like rose geranium. I'm not opposed to adding floral essences to tobacco, and I quite like whatever floral essences are applied to Ennerdale Flake, Kendal Black Cherry, Cannon Plug, Dark Flake Aromatic, and Irish Flake, but this rose geranium stuff they put on Bosun Plug / Cut Plug, #7 Broken Flake, and Coniston Cut Plug is just... well, for a lack of a better word, icky.

To me at least. I know there are quite a few pipers who love rose geranium, and I can tolerate it in the tiny amounts that are applied to (most) Coniston Cut Plug, but #7 Broken Flake and Bosun are both rose geranium bombs and just way too much for me I think. Finishing this pipe is going to be a challenge! 😅

I put an ounce of #7 away to calm down about a year ago, had two smokes of it so far. I know exactly what you mean!
