Having Cornell & Diehl Engine #382 in a French figural pipe with three deer on the stummel stamped “CHASSEUR” (which translates to ”HUNTER”).

Had an electrician over on Friday and he idiotically let a stack of drywall fall over and knock down three bookcases, which knocked over a floorstanding speaker—vintage tobacco jars and pipes in all three bookcases went flying, taking out a rare top-of-the-line 6 head VCR in the process. Thankfully, only one jar broke (some well aged Rattray’s Marlin Flake), and a tub of Sir Walter Raleigh got crushed and exploded everywhere; miraculously, the pipes survived intact, along with a 120 year old glass Colossus Pipe Factory humidor—whew! The VCR is going to be pretty tough to replace. I was not a happy camper and especially angry, because I caught him moving/tilting the drywall in the morning and told him we needed to slide them down the room to access the outlets, not pull the drywall away from the wall because they can easily fall over. Did he listen? I’m still fuming.

On top of that, we had a family emergency that involving driving back to Brooklyn Friday night, where we spent several hours in the ER.

Tonight, I felt like having Engine #382, but couldn’t locate this dedicated pipe. It was one of the ones on a bookcase that got knocked over Friday afternoon. After some poking around tonight, I found it hiding under some electronic equipment.
Hope everyone is ok and that definitely sucks gurgle.
