Almost half way through this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Second spin with a Musico Acorn stuffed with another sample, Shortcut to Mushrooms. so far so good. Pipe smokes nice and blend is working for me too. Mostly black cavendish then a flash of Latakia. Intriguing indeed

About a third of a bowl left of Wilke No. 111 in a smooth medium bend 1938-1948 Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a nickel band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem.

I Macgyvered it. It’s not actually a bite bit, it’s a cell phone cord protector. Here: CordCollar® Cord ID + Protection - https://niteize.com/cordcollar-cord-id-protection

I use these on all of my pipes that have really small or odd shaped bits. These used to come in all black, but now they come multi colored only. Perhaps you have something like this on your side of the pond? Turns the clay pipe into a really good clincher.
