Good day all! Started this lazy day with a bit of a throwdown: more of yesterday's Watch City Old Black Magic in an Upshall sandblast Canadian versus Peterson Elizabethan Mixture in an Upshall P Dublin with beveled smooth rim and pencil shank with tapered stem. Enjoying them both.
Spending the day cleaning the boat in Homosassa Springs, no manatees, been a hard year for them, many died. Smoking Amphora Virginia in a blue Balandis pipe.
Earlier today son lane limited ready rubbed in a cob.

Afternoon everyone, I’ve been sharpening a new Damascus steel straight razor for most of the day and I’ve now decided to send it back. A case of form over function unfortunately, the scales and bolsters are way too heavy and it’s got terrible balance.
I lost count of all the bowls smoked during the process but I’m relaxing with Solani 633 in the white leather Longchamp atm, and a wee glass of Slivovica.
I guess I won’t be shaving for the next week or so, at least until I get a replacement razor.

I would recommend it Dan, just to broaden your horizons and expand the experience a little. I’ll have you on briars eventually mate, if it kills me by god! ?

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2015 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
