A quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked.

During our Saturday "Brady Bunch" ZOOM I had the last of a tin of 10-year-old Brebbia Latakia Flake No. 9 (with Syrian Latakia) in my James Upshall ring grain bent bulldog. A very mellow and still rich smoke. Luckily, I have one unopened tin left.

I also had a little bit of McClelland's No. 24, in the same Upshall, after the dinner Linda prepared to celebrate St. Joseph's Day: mostaccioli, with homemade "gravy" and sausage, garlic bread, fried string beans,
and a nice chianti...

A third of the way through this bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. First time smoking this pipe. I'll probably end the day with this smoke.

Your tins look to me to be no earlier than the 1980s with the "Made in the United Kingdom" printed on the paper labels.
The smallest tins available at the time (in the UK) were 25g - this trio of "Made in the United Kingdom" were bought in the early 1980s

Before, during and up till near the end of the 1970s the print read "Blended by Alfred Dunhill" and I well remember the blending bar in their flagship store in Jermyn Street.
There was also a large book on the counter which contained the favoured blends of countless generations of pipe smokers

From the late 1970s the print read "Made in England" at which time the blending was done by Robert McConnell (also then responsible for Davidoff blends - according to the paper discs inside the tins)

From the early 1980s the print read "Made in the United Kingdom" or "Made in Great Britain" at which point production switched to the Murrays factory

By the mid 1990s the royal warrant had gone and the long-winded print read
"Made in the UK in association with Dunhill Tobacco of London"

Anyway, enough of that, your tins will without a doubt give you the smokes of your life (at least going by my experience with Dunhill tins of similar vintage as these Dunhill blends only improve with age unlike some others brands from the period that I've popped in the past ten years which are but shadows of their former selves).
Thank you, brilliant information , here’s a picture of the box they came in, all I had to go on was the font that looked late 70’s although I’m no expert in the matter. All tins are labelled Trial Size but the outer box says 12x 10g tins. image.jpg
