Aged St. James Flake in a big, black sandblasted billiard.
THAT is one gorgeous pipe! Love the blast and the color!
what beer? how are those byron blends; just discovered this now?
I did the same on a Mark Twain.HU Director’s Cut in a Peterson 9BC. It didn’t have the chimney when I got it. I received two metal chimneys from Peterson a few weeks ago, one to replace the missing one from my 11s Deluxe. Since they included a spare, I figured let’s see if it works in the 9BC. Didn’t fit, just a hair over. The original may not have been threaded, but there did seem to be threads in there. I drilled it out and tapped it, 1/4 20, screwed it in, ready to roll.
I got in on that deal also. HUGE difference with a little time. I have some 8 year aged that is glorious...3+ year-old LBF in a Scandia 721. This stuff is fantastic, SO much better than fresh LBF - thanks, @oldgeezersmoker !
