Smoking some 2 year old Weezell turd in a meerschaum 'cutty' and drinking a Corona beer to kick my day off the right way!

Trying some Turmaeus 1817 in a (fitting) Peterson 302 that I picked up last week. Not quite as good as the Squadron Leader I picked up in the same trip - but not a bad way to spend an hour!

Kicking off this St Pad's with a bowl of Mick McQuaid RR in the Peterson Dublin Churchwarden.

The pandemic has me working from home the next two glorious weeks so I get an early pipe smoking start. Today begins with GH&Co Rum Twist.

Another bowl of GH Sweet Rum Twist, now I've consumed half of the 50g that I bought and have reached a stage with the blend where I know what to expect. Love it.

Now buy some more and get some sweet dark rum and a spray bottle and spray an inch or two til soaked. Let it dry a few days. Repeat. Let it dry. Really dry. Slice into coins and oh my goodness!

How do you feel their Plumcake compares to the others out there? Seattle Pipe Club's for instance.

I am a Mac Baren convert. I don’t think there’s much comparison to be had between them but I did not really care for Plum Pudding. Seemed just like “Generic English Blend #567” to me.

I have a tin of The Solent Mixture that’s been sitting at customs for a week I’m interested to try Mac Baren’s take on the English style.

Thanks man.. I like it but only smoke it on special occasions because if I move around way too much the windcap will fall off. It's more a "chillin" pipe in that way.. or I could take off the windcap but then it's not as cool lol.
