Yeah Yanik’s shit is insane. On another level. Never been into figurals in general, but can certainly admire the absurdly superior craftsmanship in his carving abilities.
Enjoyed a tasty navel orange, and am now smoking Watch City Deluxe Crumb Cut in a 2016 Peretti's M.T. Natural made in Holland straight smooth brown Algerian briar billiard with a black acrylic tapered stem.
Match Elizabethan in a GBD Century 583 oval shank billiard.
I'm enjoying some Capstan Flake our of a Moretti bent brandy with a cup of coffee tonight.

Just finished smoking Ken Byron Ventures Jupiter Slices in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a dark tortoise shell colored tapered acrylic stem. Watching Cannon.
Last smoke of the day is Ken Byron Ventures First Light in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin sitter with a flared top and yellow saddle stem.

G.L.P. Quiet nights. Nice smoke. Smokes well sipped or puffed a little harder to bring out a bit more smokiness. A bit wet out of the tin so I used the microwave for the first time before I hit the road. That worked incredibly well. Pipe nearly smoked itself after that prep.

Dunhill Ye Olde Signe in the 1982 Chacom Christmas pipe I bought for myself for Christmas this year. It is a quarter bent Dublin with a saddle stem.
YOS, Dark Flake, and MM1938 were three blends that were brought here by Dunhill not that long ago - I think reintroduced, in a couple of cases - and then not released under the Peterson name. There were some others, as well, but these were the three I explored and developed a fondness for. I have reasonable supplies on hand of two of the three; wish I had a bit more Dark Flake, but it is what it is.

Newminster 403 Superior Round Slices in a bent MM Legend ...this tobacco is taking me some time to get to know. There are some moments in the bowl that are unexceptional, almost bland ...but there are also some moments where things get really interesting. Tends to burn hot, very manageable though.
