A couple of minutes away from smoking Ken Byron Aged FVF in a 2014 Savinelli Gaius smooth brown slight bend 320KS author with a tapered black acrylic military mount stem and ferrule. Working and listening to You Bet Your Life.

I had left the butt of the Montechristo 75th Anniversary cigar on the table of the patio the other day. The metal grating exposed it to the air to dry. It had drizzled overnight and washed away some of the tars that accumulated.

It sat in the sun the other day for several hours drying. It was such a tasty cigar, I wondered...

I took a sharp knife and cut it into fine strips. The inside was still a little damp, so I let it sit to dry a little more.

I had 3 grams of tobacco, so I blended it with 3 grams of unflavored Black Cavendish, and 6 grams of Bright and Red Virginias, some Stoved and some just aged. Gave a little shred to make it uniform.

Was wondering if it was gonna taste like a wet dog... it’s actually pretty darn good. Cigar notes, deep tobacco, a fired note, sweetness from the Virginias. Loaded into an old Yello Bole Large bent Billiard.

Been away from my Meers for a couple months (I seem to smoke them more in Summer. Don't know why really) so I decided to have some Mac Baren Mixture Scottish Blend in my Ali Lions Head Meer. She's starting to color. Came to me white as snow. Been working on getting the color for about 2 years now. Need to keep working that.Ali Meer Lions Head.jpg
