Pic First today. And as I've tried to do lately, did my emoticon/commenting first. Here's the morning festivities.

Started off with the MM Minicob STC cherry routine, but this time with Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish, a much more full bodied smoke than my usual "cherry cordials." Excellent smoke and tobacco - think if I had to choose ONE cherry, this'd be it. Not yet tried a BR tobacco I haven't liked, and this and BR Dark are permanent staples in my rotation.

As a real surprise, though, and @hoosierpipeguy and @cshubhra our cigar champs in this thread, Gord is actually smoking a real cigar as he types! Yeah, guys, really!

It's a gift from buddy Stu, it's actually got a label, and I actually had to cut the end to smoke it, and traditionally left the label on as I puff away. It's a "Sweet Jane" by Sturgis, and up here costs $50 bucks. Am I enjoying it? Oh, Yeah, You Betcha! And it's going to last over twice as long as any of the flavoured Phillies and Kwikis I usually smoke at first post, and will continue to do so cause I like 'em and can afford them. But the SJ is a different world. Think of tailings mixed with parsley and lavender weed stuffed into a pipe compared with Sunday Picnic or Autumn Evening. And I'm going to sign off now and enjoy the rest of it. Back later.

🤩
