Feeling pampered, spoiled and privileged smoking Prince Albert to break in my latest ancient, oil cured, aged over a half a century, unstained, unvarnished, unpainted Pre 54 Algerian briar Bertram Grade 40 Bulldog made by a crippled soldier in the shadow of the Capitol dome in Washington DC.

I can almost hear Smiley Bates sing.:)

Not a good day… I called in today, unfortunately it wasn’t just my occasional eye problem (“I” can’t see myself working today)… We’ve decided after a bad evening that it’s time to let our eldest dog move on her journey. Finishing up a smoke of Dark Sails in a Ropp J11 before taking her on her last ride. LiuLiu is a tough old bird, but too heartbreaking to watch her struggle through more bad days than good. She’ll be missed…

Gord's recent loss, now this heartbreaking loss for you. Very, very sorry to know what you're going to go through. Dredges up the same situation. Never easy. 😿

Absolutely beautiful pipe. Takes today's kewpie doll, methinks! Looks about the perfect size for a contemplative evening smoke. 🤩👍👍

Very nice floral setting to smoke it in, too!

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2019 HU Directors Cut in a smooth slight bend dark brown 1940s-1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 228C prince with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Tomato the Brave came in to eat, and then left. Daisy the Feral Princess got some lap time and scratching from yours truly. Harry the Hairy couldn't complain because he got the same from m'lady.
