I have it's brother, all smooth, marked "Copenhagen Style" in the same sort of block letters. I bought it as my first pipe from a basket in Tennessee in about 1980. It somehow stayed with me thru all the vida loca until I picked it back up in 2011.
Hmm, very interesting. I think this looks a lot like pipes from Amadeus or a similar Greek factory. Without the inscription “Made in Greece” — it’s hard to say 100%, but there’s a chance that this is a Greek export of the mid-to-late 20th century, specifically for the budget segment. Greek factories, especially Amadeus, Elios, Sir Walter, Atlas, etc., often didn’t put logos, especially on export lots. They limited themselves to inscriptions like: REAL BRIAR, IMPORTED BRIAR, MADE IN GREECE (sometimes, but not always). Finishing and stain — Amadeus often has: reddish stain on the neck and bowl (like I have on my pipe); weak or completely absent grain; universal shapes (bent billiard, dublin, etc.); smooth or rusticated finish, often slightly sloppily processed.
This one looks very similar (found it on the Internet)
