Earlier, I smoked a bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight black with a burgundy undertone sandblasted early 1960s Lane era Charatan 420 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Currently, I am half way through this bowl of first production Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Watching the Braves-Mets game.
Daisy the Feral Princess has been inside for a while, and spent a lot of time on my lap. She was in heightened need for love and attention.

The little tin I carry a work portion in has allowed it to dry out quite a bit.
I usually like that, but it’s become harsh, and harsh on the tongue-not “bite” but a definitely a little zippy.

I agree with you, too dry is no good. It sure lets you know if you get it too hot as well. All in all it’s one of my favorites so far.
