Hello folks. Looks like y'all have been busy posting while I was out of town.
Been on a four day history trip to west TN and northern Mississippi visiting the battlefields of Shiloh, Brices Crossroads and Rienzi. I had visited most of this before, but the Rienzi trip was amazing and new as they have just found the unmarked graves of 160 Confederate soldiers that were killed at Rienzi and hurriedly buried but not marked. The five of us stayed in a cabin in Ramer, TN. and grilled steaks, corn, veggies and sipped a bit of bourbon and smoked several cigars and bowls of Pegasus.......
I did take a photo of a bent pipe that I had made years ago by a historic pipe maker. This one was originally owned by a Capt. Ellis with the Federal army. The bourbon was Col. E. H. Taylor and was mighty smooth...........

Smoking some Chelsea Morning this Evening in my Savinelli Cumberland 806. Whoop wife in some fooseball, we ate a nice dinner, here in a little, when the boys go to sleep, me and the wife gonna get in this hot tub on the deck. I probably won't post a pic of that though. Haha

Smoker Friendly (Sutliff) Jamaican Rum in a perfect late production machine made $5 size Marxman Jumbo.

Before the disaster at the Yalu River in December 1950 a Jumbo was a hand made pipe, bigger than a Benchmade, for the rugged outdoor man of action.

During Korean War price controls it’s hard to distinguish a machine made Super Briar, Benchmade or Jumbo.

The late production pipes color in only a few smokes.

Quality is first rate, there’s just less hand work.
