A weird one for today. Who thought orange and dark fired would be a good combo? The Pete 309 fishtail kicks ass. Gonna have to get another 309.
Cigar Time: Liga Privada No 9 Oscuro. I have always had bad luck with this cigar, but let’s hope it changes today.
This year Summer Solstice was yesterday (20th June). Since the calendar is not aligned perfectly to earth’s orbit, some years it is on 20th or 22nd June.

Just put flame to mine as well I had a bit of hesitation with the 309 to start with but after a bowl or 2 with it I was hooked
Pegasus in a Nording extra. It's hard to tell, but the sides are squared off a little, which makes it nice to hold. This is a beast of a pipe

Hi there old Friends! I haven’t posted in a long time. I’ve started a business and have a new beautiful lady. Both are exciting and taking up a lot of my time. Relaxing after some yardwork with some Bill Bailey’s Balkan Blend in a Radice.
Spent this morning with a sample of Tashkent in a Wally Frank 5 star made in London prince. Black coffee to drink. Very enjoyable! I received a box of Peretti samples from @JoeW that are much appreciated!

Last bowl of Craven’s Wing in a Vauen Ambrosi. This 2 oz bag was forgotten about and lost hidden behind some other bags at Rich’s in Portland. Bill was astonished to see it there and said it hadn’t been blended in years, since Steve was blending there. Since it was bagged several years ago in a zip lock bag, I expected the flavor to be a bit muted. It must be the excellent atmosphere of the shop or something but this was mouth-watering and strong with flavor. It has dropped off quite a bit since I got the bag in February… should have gone through it faster. Still a treat though!
My advice is not to mow, have another pipe with a pot of hot green tea, for variety. I think, above all man's inventions, I hate lawn mowers the most. A scythe is a better tool for that unkempt, organic look.
After my experiences so far with the Brog Scoot, like, man, I GET this pipe! Love it!
