The cicadas have been on screech the past few days. In summers past I have heard them, but rarely seen them. Today they were flying everywhere during my walk on the mesa. Some actually landed on me. I have never seen that before. I think they are called cactus dodgers in New Mexico. @Carol is that correct?

All pumped up watching the Parade in Washington celebrating the 250th birthday of the U S Army!

The Parade was awesome (!!!). Really cool seeing those robot dogs. Thinking they probably don't eat much. Wonder if they like to sleep alongside you at night? Do they like to have they heads rubbed?
