Starting out guys’ long weekend at my buddy’s cottage with KBV Van Gogh in a Savinelli Saturnalia 707 stummel with a Roma Lucite stem. Whatever, it fits.

Manistee River in the background. Beautiful day today, but rain coming tomorrow. Perfect for an hours long poker game on the screen porch.

According to United - there is nothing they can do about it because the program makes certain decisions based on bag weight. Mine was well under 50 lbs. There was no person who could prevent the decision because some decisions are made automatically. I was told it would be okay and the bag would join me in two days. I am thankful that the AI felt it would be okay. It has my total trust when it comes to my happiness. SNAFU!!!!

I was waiting for the bag to fly out of Washington DC today and the flight got cancelled due to mechanical and crew issues. Seriously? Oh well, I found a piipemaker here in Venice who makes beautiful full grain pipes with briar found in the area.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for Daisy the Feral Princess and Abner the Eager. Daisy's been eating a lot less wet food, and more dry food lately. She's also spending most of her time outside which is common for cats this time of year. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Last time I flew down to the Bahamas My Dive gear ended up in Memphis but my other bags ended up with me on the Island.
Not helpful for a Dive trip. Had to purchase new Regulators, BC, Mask,Fins,Wet Suits, Snorkels, Dive Computers and for two at that!
That was US Air though but all US based Airlines suck.
I hope the rest of the trip is fantastic and that’s the only glitch.

Abner the Eager was waiting for me under my car when I went out to walk. I brought him in to eat, and then I did a set of walking reps. He's hiding somewhere in the house. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' on the couch. I'm not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem.

They are orphaned chunks of ice that we rescued from the mean ol' big berg that dastardly attacked the poor widdle, innocent Titanic. Our bergs are paw delivered by the trusty, when sober, St. Bernard.
