Relaxing after a wonderful salad, freshly made tomato soup (no, not THAT Tomato! :) ), snapper and green beans dinner with a slice of lemon blueberry cake for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of first production Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Speaking of Tomato the Brave, he's running around the den knocking cat toys around. Harry the Hairy is still snoozin' on the couch. Hasn't moved an inch. The other ferals are outside.

Earlier had some John Cotton’s Double Pressed Virginia, one of my favorites, in a Savinelli Onda Lovat.

Now I’m enjoying some Former’s Bird’s Eye Flake in a Vauen Ambrosi.

Both these pipes are beautiful, I almost bought the same Vauen pipe a couple of times, but I take it out the shopping cart cause it's a little expensive. I've liked a few Vauen pipes, but anything made in Germany is always super expensive here, buy that same pipe in Europe and it's like $100 bucks cheaper.

You’re not wrong there; a couple of the ones I own were purchased while traveling to Germany for work a couple times and I thought to myself, wow these are so affordable and beautiful!
It turns out I should have grabbed more while I was there! If I go back, I know where all the per diem is going…

Thanks, Paul. I'm taking that advice from England, pretty much. And enjoying some of the stellar pipes being posted tonight. Your's pictured is at the top of the heap. :) 👍👍 Love it!!

Well, made a trip to the forum to look at the pipes and catch up on replies. No smoking today - but did enjoy a couple of pinches of Smokers' Pride Whiskey Tobacco, which makes (along with SWR) the best pipe tobacco for a chew. In recovery mode, but only a few positions are comfortable with this catheter stuffed up my schlang. Sitting at a computer is not one of them. Might try a small pipe of something monochrome tomorrow, probably Smoker's Cherry Cavendish, or Pirate Kake, which remain muted but "there" at least.

About a third of a bowl left of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Tomato the Brave is still in hyper-kitten mode. Right now, he batting and chewing on a cat nip toy. He lost interest in the others. He also attacked a blanket, a rug, and other toys. Molly Danger and Sleepy Suzy just stared at the goofball. Harry the Hairy made sure he has stayed out of Tomato's way before he wanted out. Abner the Eager is outside, but he wasn't interested in coming inside.
