That’s awesome! He makes great smokers and when he has some I tend to grab one as it’s a long wait between drops. I hope you enjoy it and it gives you many years of faithful service. Mine have been great. I’m looking forward to seeing your first smoke in it.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2022 Solani 633 in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar post-WW2-mid 50s family era Barling’s Make Ye Olde Wood Straight Grain Made in England bulldog with a diamond shape shank and black ebonite stem. This pipe came from the estate of David Cuneo.

Esoterica Stonehaven, jarred in 2011, in my trusty Nording Freehand. This pipe was very light blond when purchased. It has aged and colored like a meer. Tobacco was still very moist, almost sticky. They must have used PG. A very slight floral essence makes itself known but mostly only during the first third. This stuff has aged phenomenally, and while burley is not my wheelhouse, this one is very, very enjoyable. Rich, smoky, smooth, refuses to bite, and a changing character and complexity as the bowl progresses. It's night-time now, so this picture was borrowed from a few days ago.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am closing in on the first third of this bowl of year 2012 Dan Tobacco Treasures of Ireland: Limerick in a 2021 medium bend black sandblasted Peterson Newgrange 80S bent bulldog silver spigot with a tapered reddish brown, black striped acrylic stem. Tomato the Brave came in to eat, and wanted right back out even though it's raining. Daisy the Feral Princess wasn't hungry. Harry the Hairy woke up after a long snooze, ate a little, and then wanted lots of attention from me. After that, he was ready to go out.

Sing one, Kenny Rogers!
Ruby Don’t Take Your Love to Town
Apologies if my following comment offends ...
I've listened to this song many, many times over the years. His singing is almost haunting. GREAT song.
But the theme, a disabled Vietnam war vet ... every day disrespected (to say the least) by Ruby ... borrowing his words, I always thought, "Well, get your gun & when she returns, sweat soaked, used, having left her 'love' in town, THEN go ahead & put her in the ground (!!!)."

Almost a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I saw Abner the Eager outside and brought him in. He's on top of my chair now. Daisy the Feral Princess is in now.

Now smoking KBV Jupiter Slices 7.1 in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' by my feet. Abner the Eager wanted out even though it is raining.
