Was going to post my last smoke but I'll wait until I'm up to it picture-wise. . . surgery tomorrow at 3:00 PM. Papers, prep and other horse doo-doo from 12:15 on to cutting time. Not expecting anything out of the ordinary, but not relishing it either.

Can tell you a litte about it without the pic which hasn't been taken: it was the black Mr. Brog Nosewarmer with TobaccoBarn's Traditional English. The pipe is going to be used in my travel kit for English and Navy tobaccos. This was the first English smoked in the pipe after the break in with SP Whiskey and BR Dark Cavendish. I packed it too tight, and didn't dry the tobacco out. Had to fiddle with it a lot. About half way's through it settle down and was okay. To be continued . . . . .

Now smoking year 2020 Peretti Blend W in a straight black sandblasted circa 1950s Comoy’s Peterson’s made for Peterson, Ltd. in Wisconsin billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

An intrepid frog decided to visit the cat house that Daisy the Feral Princess usually inhabits. Maybe he wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Daisy was in the cat tree house stealthy observing the intruding wild life. Maybe she's wondering what frog legs taste like?

Hey gord, I just wanted to wish you all the best and a very speedy recovery from your surgery tomorrow. You sound like you're taking it all in stride. Hope to see/read you back on here in no time! 🌼

Last smoke of the day is Wilke Back Bay w/o perique in a straight black sandblasted 1924 Parker’s Super Briar Bark 11 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was made in the second year of Parker production. Read all the box scores, and am doing other reading while this bowl lasts.
