Thanks! Now i know! I searched around a bit and found stuff on hookahs, vaping setups, see-through pipes that were actually like old viewmasters, and a few things in plumbing/carpentry, but your answer makes more sense to me. I could probably duplicate this kind of thing with two photos, using layers processing, but man, that'd take a lot of work! Can't compete with these new apps on cellphones!

I’m sure the folks at Pete would agree with you, but I have the same pipe (I think smoked and posted within the last 24 hours), and JMO, but I call it a ball. It’s too near to perfectly round for me to call it an apple. But no one’s wrong in this. Whatever your pipe seems like to you is what it is, as far as it matters. I’m calling it what pipe shape pleases me, if it’s anything other than the clearest of clear cut.
