Its actually just an AI photo editing tool on my phone. Lasso and erase. Just takes a minute.

Sometimes it's more fun than the standard pipe stand pic.

Thanks! Now i know! I searched around a bit and found stuff on hookahs, vaping setups, see-through pipes that were actually like old viewmasters, and a few things in plumbing/carpentry, but your answer makes more sense to me. I could probably duplicate this kind of thing with two photos, using layers processing, but man, that'd take a lot of work! Can't compete with these new apps on cellphones!

I
I am terrible with pipe shapes, but I would call this a full-bent apple.

Lestrade is a character from the Sherlock Holmes stories.
I’m sure the folks at Pete would agree with you, but I have the same pipe (I think smoked and posted within the last 24 hours), and JMO, but I call it a ball. It’s too near to perfectly round for me to call it an apple. But no one’s wrong in this. Whatever your pipe seems like to you is what it is, as far as it matters. I’m calling it what pipe shape pleases me, if it’s anything other than the clearest of clear cut.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Orioles-A's game.

Now smoking year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth brown 1960s-70s BBB Own Make 506 Canadian with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Molly Danger came out of the bedroom since all the ferals are outside. She's in the kitchen now. Sleepy Suzy is by my side.

A quarter of a bowl left of year 2012 Butera Pelican in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted English Rustic 120S Billiard (Comoy’s second) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This pipe originally belonged to my college art mentor, the late professor Walter Barker. Was playing with Molly Danger, and then fed Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy. The others are outside snoozin', and not hungry.
