Watching my wife garden, kids playing in the pool, the weather is absolutely sweet. Ridin with the Riverboat Gambler today in my Savinelli Tortuga 106. I had bowl of HB earlier but have since switch back to Riverboat Gambler. It's just been hitting the spot. It's got a little tang to it that I like. Then I also Switched over from hot black coffee to iced sugared and creamed, cause you know it's hot out here. It's truly a beautiful day out, it don't get much better than this.

Smoker Friendly (Sutliff) Vanilla in an oxblood colored ancient, oil cured, aged, unstained, unvarnished, and unpainted highly polished hand carved Pre 54 Algerian briar Marxman Benchmade $5 size, hand made at 27 West 24th Street 10 New York City, New York under the watchful eye of superintendent Louis Cowan, formerly of Loews, and styled for the rugged outdoor man of action.

This pipe is maybe halfway colored, and it gets better and a tiny bit darker with each smoke.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2018 D&R Windsail in a smooth straight family era 1950s Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite saddle stem. Daisy the Feral Princess, Tomato the Brave and Sleepy Suzy are eating their wet food. Shy Stripesy is on the chair that Abner the Eager often snoozes on. I spent a little time talking low and sweet to Stripesy a few minutes ago, but I knew better than to get close. I left some dry food down for him/her (?). Wish I could read the expression on that cat's face.

My wife and I take care of ferals, too, and most happen to be mackerels. That look is the classic, “I’m happy to be here and all, and I’m not scared, but I’m watching you because I just don’t quite trust you yet.“ Seen it many times. It’s in the body language, too.

We have some wonderful, sweet ones we care for, but it takes more time and effort to build trust with mackerels, usually.
