Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I followed that with a bowl of year 2014 FVF in a smooth 2002 medium bend eight sided panel top straight grain Rinaldo Collection Silver Line F Egea 05 Titania bulldog with a black acrylic stem. M'lady's niece came over for a visit, and we had a fun time chatting.


Currently, I'm near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend 1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 187 yachtsman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Hard rain started a while ago. Daisy the Feral Princess, Tomato the Brave, and Abner the Eager wanted out for some reason that must have to do with IQ deficiencies. They used want to stay in when the weather was bad. Haven't seen Harry the Hairy in hours, so he must have taken shelter elsewhere. Watching the Yankees-Red Sox game, but will switch to the Braves-Giants game after the top of the hour.


Update: As soon as I was getting ready to post this, I heard Tomato the Brave at the back door, and he's in now. Not wet at all, so he knew where to hide.

Tomato is one of the ferals. He's also the most likeable and friendly by far. Not very smart which is the general case for orange tabbies. He still acts like a kitten. I think he's about nine years old, but you'd never know it if you spent any time with him.

Now smoking a bowl from a freshly opened tin of year 2023 H&H Viprati in a 2000s brown quarter bend sandblast Pierluigi 140 brandy military mount with a silver cap and a caramel acrylic saddle stem. Gettng ready to clean a few pipes while I watch the ball game.


A few years ago, I did a drawing for my friend Frank Ferrante, who does the greatest impression of Groucho Marx I've ever seen. Most impersonators start their act out great, and after five to ten minutes, you know that you're watching somebody copying somebody. That's not true of Frank. Every time that I have seen him, he makes you believe that he is Groucho.

This evening, Frank asked for my permission to use the drawing in a Marx Brothers exhibit this July for the Hollywood museum. Of course, I said "Yes!" That drawing can also be seen at the end of a documentary about Frank along with other artists. If you're a Groucho fan, you should check out his show if the show comes anywhere near where you live. You'll think you saw the real Groucho.
