Officially starting my smoking day with a bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Went out to call for Tomato the Brave, but he's apparently not around here. Daisy the Feral Princess didn't want to be around Harry the Hairy, so I let her go out. She knows how to stay out of the rain. Abner the Eager is snoozin' in a corner. Getting ready to watch the Braves-D-Backs game. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Roach, you have been pulling out some really great looking pipes. You must have quite a collection in the stable. This one is just a show stopper.
Btw, I know you smoke a lot of HB Cake. I just finished my regular HB and about to open the cake. Which do you prefer??

Enjoyed a regular size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins thrown in, and a golden delicious apple. I followed that up with a big plate of black beans and rice topped with Mexican cheese. I've a quarter of a bowl left of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink. Tomato the Brave showed up, ate extra plenty and as usual, the goofball wanted out in the rain afterward. Harry the Hairy was out while I fed him and Daisy the Feral Princess, who also wanted out after she ate. She usually stays in when it rains. Harry wanted back in, and he's deciding where to snooze. The Braves are finally hitting the ball today. I got three Pesse Canoe tins to review as well as a new Low Country blend.

I'm finishing a tin of regular HB and about to open a tin of the cake. Do you find it better/worse/same??

It's been a while since i've had the original. I smoked HB a lot 10-15 yrs ago and have since ran out of stock. I was curious to try this new rendition and certainly noticed some old familiar flavors. I enjoyed the tin enough and would certainly consider buying again. If you haven't finished off the first tin yet and are about to open the cake, i'd be curious to hear your thoughts on a side-by-side which i have not tried. ;)

Firing up a new to me Savinelli Autograph estate. Ive got some HU Edward G and some apple juice.

She's a looker! 👍

Getting a much later-than-usual start to everything, including my pipe smoking today. Firing up an after-breakfast bowl of HU Indaba in a Radice Pure with coffee and then back to packing for the upcoming trip.

Half way through this bowl of year 2020 D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth dark brown late 1890s, early 1900s WDC bulldog with silver bands around the ridges, a decorative sterling silver band and tapered black vulcanite stem with an orific bit.

Well, I just finished the original last week. Maybe not a true "side-by-side" but I will try to compare it from recent memory, as best I can. Thanks.

Thank you. I am starting to get a good collection together atleast for my tastes. I have only ever smoked HB Cake, it is the only version available here.
