Worked my way through another bowl of this Black Cherry. It seems to benefit from being cut very fine and the addition of a humidity block in the jar and the rope is now a bit more springy and I am certainly getting the good old nicotine smoothy effect in the bottom of the bowl. In terms of Black Cherry I am not getting anything out of this tobacco other than the predictable brown rope flavor. Hope springs eternal!

Did a set of walking reps, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. As he has been doing lately, Abner the Eager was waiting in the grass for me. He ran to me, chirped approval for my presence, and I scooped him up to bring him inside. He was eating as I left, and is somewhere in the house snoozin'. Daisy the Feral Princess wasn't hungry, but Harry the Hairy was. He stood driveway guard afterward. Tomato was snoozin' on the lounge.

I really like Sweet Black Cherry Twist, but there’s really not much in the cherry department that I pick up either.
I actually get a little more cigar-y flavor about halfway through than I do out of Brown Bogie, maybe that’s the cherry😆
But I’ve got a goat palate….

I have no pic, but just had some Ryback+P in a pre-repub K&P unnumbered lg bulldog.

I enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am part way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Now smoking year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. All the ferals are outside except for Abner the Eager. I have no idea where the li'l fella is snoozin', but he sure found a safe spot somewhere in the house.

I am glad it is not just me. I cannot for the life of me get anything Cherry out of this rope even when I chew the stuff. It's practically fire proof but when thinly sliced and the addition of moister it becomes quite smokable but still leaves me scratching my head.
