Dear friend Paul. Thank you for your beautiful words. I don't think I'll be the same as before, my whiskey is evaporating, the tobacco is drying up, it's a hell of a fire in here. We are in June, we never had in this month such suffocating temperatures, or this apocalyptic climate.😬😵‍💫🥴View attachment 401541
The East Coast is having the same heat with an Index of 105f -112f this pst week or so. Just miserable!

Morning ladies and gents,
I try to get in three miles every morning, but today felt like a lazy, PS5, coffee, and Boswell Canadian with KBV Deep House kind of morning.

Looks like about the perfect size bowl for a morning smoke. Like it! Don't know that tobacco at all, though. :)

The heat has been really intense down here in Tennessee for past week or two..... However, last night a cooler front cam through. Was 69F this morning with highs in low 80's. Similar temps forecasted for upcoming week.
Hopefully, that will be moving east in to VA and the east coast for Paul and others........

Now, whether or not they make their way across the "big pond" to help @JOHN72 is another question.
Best of luck to you during this, John.

No smoking yet. I still have hardly any taste and smell. Now on medication for a nephritic colic. I was in the hospital a few days ago, so far not serious. On Tuesday we will have the final results. Here in Spain we say that when a bad streak comes, they all come together. Anyway. I wish you a happy Sunday and God bless you.

Prayers for a speedy recovery. My taste and smell are coming back - it's a great feeling. Hope this rubs off on U!!

:) Morning Smoke: The usual. My MM Minicob STC as I do a bit of a review, clamping on the only pipe I clamp with, stuffed with Smoker's Pride Cherry Cavendish, and the usual Kwiki Grape cigar as I type. Up very early today as I'll be gone until evening. Actually feel up to a bit of an outing to the picnic table with a few friends. Meds have cut in and the catheter discomfort is much more pleasant. Pleasant ain't the right word, but you know what I mean!

Last night's smoke with buddy Mike onboard, was really quite a change for me. In the rededication of my pipe tribe, I've reassigned my wonderful Brigham Tundra 87 to light aromatics so I can join the crowd with a longer aro smoke and pleasant conversation without dwelling on tobacco nuance. Pipe needed an ash cull and relight at the 80 minute mark - didn't bother. Was just right as it was, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Smokers' Pride Vanilla Cavendish. Taste buds really returning, a definite upper.

Will hopefully post the day's festivities tonight - it's going to be a two pipe, one cigar affair! I actually think y'all will enjoy the post and photos!

Have a great Sunday! puffy
