Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink.

I’ll deal with the ash when I stand up, I’m smoking some C&D Palmetto Balkan mixed with Lane 1Q, which may be heretical, I’m not certain. It’s really good though. It reminds me of the first pipe tobacco I ever smoked, way back in the early 2000’s probably. I can’t even remember what it was, or where I got it exactly, though I have an idea where it would have been. There was only one store in town that would have blended with lane 1q. In the Peterson I had some LBF prior to lunch. image.jpg

Haunted Bookshop in a cob with some bourbon on the side. I had one of the newer crumble cake versions, and I must say I'm glad have finished it and cracked open one my old 8 oz tins. There's a lot to be said about how the cut affects the blend, and I'm a believer now. I do enjoy it in it's original form better.

Did a second set of walking reps in the sweltering humidity, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.
