Enjoyed a light, low calorie snack, and am smoking Peretti Royal in a black sandblasted medium bend 2013 Mark Tinsky Coral 5 cherrywood with a smooth dark brown shank and bottom with a tapered black briar accented acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

MM Diplomat stuffed with Wilke's #515 (Basil Rathbone's blend).
First time with this blend and I found it a light and pleasant smoke. While I did detect a slight taste of rum, vanilla was front and center to me. Perhaps as I spend more time with this blend these flavors will come out and I will be spending more time with this blend indeed.
It burned cool, it was a bit damp so next time I will dry it a bit more. There was no bite to this at all and I could see this being an all-day smoke for those who like aromatics.

A third of a bowl left of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2018 full bend smooth Terracotta Peterson XL315 System Standard military mount with a nickel cap and a flared black vulcanite p-lip stem. Reading baseball box scores.

Half way through this bowl of 1970s Heine's Blend in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega military mount with a nickel band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. I'll end the day with this smoke.
