Back to the shop after a long day. Ready to get the unwind pipe lit after a nice big Deisel stogie on the drive home.
Recently ordered a couple back up bundles of Semois, so i can effectively get back after this 1/2 jar i have left.
Running it through the Ser Jac.
Now smoking Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Enjoyed a big and tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Working and listening to The Challenge of the Yukon from my radio collection. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Now smoking Wilke Little Round Top in an undated straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Sterling bulldog 150 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. This blend is Back Bay with much less perique (10%) than the regular Back Bay. Listening to Vic and Sade from my radio collection.
Finished work for the day, and am a third of the way through this bowl of 2018 Sutliff Walnut Match in a 1990s smooth brown medium bend briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite stem.
Swedish/Finnish standard domestic OTC, Graf Gilbert Hamiltons Blend (-Virginia-Burley ribbon cut with alcohol topping and some kentucky) in a Stanwell Royal Briar Regd No model 329
Started the day with Ashton Gold Rush in the Falcon, now have Germain's Brown Flake in the Cara. But, the day was really started by an old friend I haven't seen for at least 2 months; he had breakfast and a postprandial nap.
Near the last quarter of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. I should end the end with this smoke. Been feeding my cats and the ferals. Abner the Eager showed up today, sad and extra hungry. Hadn't seen him in a couple of days or so. His right front leg has improved, but he still favored it. At least he's getting better.
Moving towards the end of this bowl. Louisana Broken and Tuarekh in a Caminetto. This makes a great sweet English type blend. I have not decided if its best with Louisana Broken or Edward G. and I havent tried Tuarekh with Directors cut yet. The KY may or may not play well.
