Finished the Archie story earlier, and spent some time playing with Molly Danger and Sleepy Suzy. Smoked a bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Bertrams are very enjoyable smokers. Going to catch up on the forum now. I'll likely end the day with this smoke.

Still have a few things to do, so I am closing the day with a bowl of D&R Windsail in an 1890s-early 1900s dark brown smooth straight JD (Joseph B. Desjardins) billiard with filigree metal work with an amberish saddle stem and orific bit.

Good morning all. I’m sitting down with my first smoke in a couple of weeks, after an unwelcome Covid vacation. Glad to be back to normal and thank you everyone for the kind get well wishes.

Burley Morning Pipe in a cob, and a cup of coffee with my favorite sweetener. Cheers!

Thanks Tim. I wish I had that luxury, but my phone has rung off the hook with work calls from the first day I got sick. One of the drawbacks of being a one man operation is that there’s no one to pick up the slack when you’re unable. I probably should be working today but I’ll be jumping in with both feet Monday morning. The good thing about being your own boss, is that I can knock off whenever I need to. Cheers, Brother!
