I met no less than 5 different pipe smokers today in Chesterfield, all smoking different blends.
Never seen this many in one day before!
Showed James the tobacconist on Glumangate (Devon House News); he says he'd like to try some of the Gawith baccy.
Smoked some Clan, Special Virginia, St Bruno and Gawith Hoggarth Spirit of Scotland.
Made some homemade elderflower cordial today, picked the elderflowers around the playing field and footpath near my cul de sac.
Made some banana ? bread ? and got 3 books towards my next trade. Going to the plastic free festival in Chesterfield on Sunday.
Swigged another full bottle ? of Mulled Wine ? in true Viking style, downed the lot in under a minute.
The oatmeal and raisin cookies prepared my mouth and throat for that big torrent of Mulled Wine!!!
Going to down another clay pipe of baccy!

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Watching the Braves-Pirates game.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Wesley’s No.41 Fruit Flake in a 1980s White Pipe straight lattice apple meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. I think I figured out the toppings. That's always the hardest thing to discover when reviewing.

Wrapping up the day with a glass of wine and a small bowl of Mac Baren Golden Extra in the Foyard Rhodesian. Bird report: Common raven, California scrub-jay, Mountain chickadee, White-breasted nuthatch, House finch, and either a Goldfinch or some type of oriole (moving too fast to know for sure). A lovely dinner of roasted chicken thighs, mashed potatoes and homemade coleslaw awaits me. Just happy not to have a sore horse from riding the ass ass from riding the horse today.
