Enjoyed my cup of coffee in my side yard with my old Lab at my side. The day is beautiful after the storm that came through last night. A morning to be thankful to be alive. It was one of those special moments when everything was perfect. I was smoking my MOLINA sandblasted egg with some Carter Hall. After all these years of smoking all the different blends, it is still the Codger and Match blends that please me the most.

Last night, 965 Match in a Kaywoodie Drinkless Ruff-Tone with the old screw-in stem stinger. The usual list of chores and errands to do. My mackerel tabby with bib and boots is dozing on my desk calendar beside my PC. Pinetop Perkins is chiming in from the smart speaker in the next room. Check him out; he won a Grammy at ninety something years of age.

Pinetop may have been the best R&B pianist ever.
