Sorry bro, my bad. It’s a variety of dark air cured Virginia called goose creek red. ✌?Can you help me out with this one—what is GCR? I’m getting the hang of all the abbreviations here, but this one stumped me.

@Ahi Ka, I should have kept reading the thread before asking. I’ve got it now. That’s a new one to me.Can you help me out with this one—what is GCR? I’m getting the hang of all the abbreviations here, but this one stumped me.
No worries…I’m hoping to eventually funnel my frustrations at NZ’s tobacco prices into a bizarre list of homegrown acronyms and small batch blend names just to keep you triggering your guys’ FOMO ?@Ahi Ka, I should have kept reading the thread before asking. I’ve got it now. That’s a new one to me.
That was my goodnight smoke tonight. Trying to tear myself away from Pegasus and Yorktown for a few days. Get well soon @Tar Wheel.Just finished smoking Low Country Pipe & Cigar Natural Virginia & Burley in a 2020 straight black sandblasted Merchant Service “Bing” Standard with a nickel band and black vulcanite tapered stem.

Best wishes for things to get better for you man!Not been around much - nor have I had too many bowls. But - tonight I’m contemplating all that is life and the trials we all encounter. We all deal with them - but, our own are the worst - till we hear other’s stories.
I’ve set out several helpings to load - then they sit for days…then I’m like - damnit. So, I load a pipe and puff away…for a couple puffs and think - next time won’t wait so long. Then, I do it again. Shit.
Tonight - I stuffed my Stanwell Authentic 83 with some PS LBF. It sat for two days - but, it’s rather resilient. Finding myself in a place where I may be offloading both pipe tobacco and pipes.. for a variety of reason - the only one I’ll share is surgery to have a cervical disc replaced. It will be OK - it sounds way worse than it is I think - had neck surgery once - so, perhaps I’m being modest. Anyway - as I enjoy this LBF in my Stanwell…this particular Stanwell - if I have to unload most - I’m keeping this one and my LBF. And a couple others probably - who am I kidding. ?
But - regardless… hope you’re all well and in good health. And - if you’re going through something or dealing with crap if any kind - I’m smoking a bowl for you tonight and thinking about you.
That’s rad that you are growing and making your own tobacco. You had me wondering if that was the case because when I searched for ‘goose creek red tobacco’, all I found were listings for seeds. Well done!No worries…I’m hoping to eventually funnel my frustrations at NZ’s tobacco prices into a bizarre list of homegrown acronyms and small batch blend names just to keep you triggering your guys’ FOMO ?
Glad to see your pipes again Pete. Very nice!Having an after dinner smoke. GH Scotch Flake in a new Don Warren Del Rio.

Stay strong Sir !Well, after dodging it for the past couple of years, Covid finally got me. Body aches, chills, sore throat, low grade fever, etc.
Probably picked it up at the concert I attended Saturday night. It sucks, but could be worse, I suppose. Needless to say, I’ll be refraining from smoking for a few days. I’ll still be checking in to see what‘s happening in the WAYS world. Cheers!
