Gave the dogs a bath on this beautiful June day, did some light, recreational plumbing repairs, and celebrated the absence of leaks with a CAO Brazillia, not sure of the vitola but it's corona-esque. I'm not really a fan of CAO, but the Brazillia has always impressed me. Great smoke, and cheap; I should buy a box. Now I'm drying out some McClelland Blackwoods Flake trying to decide what to smoke it in. First world problems!

Second bowl of Wilke No. 111 in a MM unplastered Diplomat apple. I'm enjoying these Wilke blends...by the way, @jiminks , is "Wilke" pronounced with the final 'e' sounded ("wilk-ee"), or is it "Wilk" (rhymes with 'silk')?

The No. 111 blend packs and burns like a champ - after a false light and a second one with tamp, I haven't needed to do anything to keep it going, except a light tamp occasionally. Good stuff!

If breakfast-for-dinner is a thing, why can't this be?

As this blend ages, the "strength" is starting to fade, both in terms of the nic hit but also the flavors - neither is necessarily a bad thing. The lakatia is smoother and much fainter now - than even a year ago (the difference seems much more dramatic when compared with the fresh Peterson tins).
Did you put a finish on this pipe, or have you been smoking plenty of "stank"? (that's what my grandfather used to call any strong-smelling, oily pipe tobacco).
