Two by Barling bought in the late 1970s + Danske Club VANILLA and Holger Danske ROYAL NAVY FLAKE.
1) "BARLING LONDON ENGLAND" stamped on the shank / size and shape 4804 (Group 4) Taper Zulu Sandblast.
2) "BARLING LONDON ENGLAND" stamped on the shank / size and shape 4539 (Group 4) Saddle Danske Standard.
Rubbed crossed Barling logo on the stems.
A trio of Barlings from another era:-
1) Stub stem Bulldog - "BARLING'S MAKE" and "W. PETERS BOURNEMOUTH" on the shank and the mount stamped E.B W.B (Edwin Barling William Barling) w/ marks for London 1905.
2 & 3) Pair of 'Sweetheart' Billiard shape - "BARLING's MAKE" on the shanks and the mounts stamped E.B W.B w/ marks for London 1903.
2011 McClelland Sophisticate in an Elongated Boswell’s Shot Shell Smooth Billiard with Root Beer/Cola toned acrylic stem. The colors in the acrylic shimmer slightly, and move and change with the light. Really a nice VA blend.
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, pork chops and green beans dinner strawberries for dessert. Now smoking year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.
Earlier today, several bowls of KBV Burley Morning Pipe in a Thermofilter billiard. Now, Crooner in a Kaywoodie Silhouette. It looks like it's going to be a cool night here, so one more bowl of the English variety may be in order.
