Just finished a bowl of my own "Dino's Mixture" (FVF, University Flake, 50 year old Mahalla and Latakia, and a little extra Syrian Latakia from the 90s), in my father's no-name "London Made" long stemmed billiard, about a size 1.
Remembering my father on the eve of Father's Day.

Tinderbox (of Tacoma) make a tobacco called Wafflehouse. It used to contain McClelland VBC as a major componant. They found an alternative when they quit and the new blend is good, but not magic like the old stuff. I am smoking the old stuff in a Forecastle Dublin.

About a quarter of the way through this bowl of Sutliff Prince Andrew in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Having fun breaking in this new pipe.

A couple of minutes away from smoking Ken Byron Ventures Live Wire in a smooth almost full bend 1981 Briar Workshop round brandy signed by Elliott Nachwalter with a pearl gold acrylic stem. Community Coffee is my drink. Watching a chapter of the Terry and the Pirates serial.

I only had half a pipeful of Ken Byron Ventures Verge Engine Overdrive left so I added to it a little C&D Opening Night. Smoking it it a Sasieni Four Dot Hurlingham S. The taste is predominantly of VEO, with some occasional whiffs of Opening Night. Interesting ?

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Ozark Wizard’s All Things Being Equal in a straight black sandblast late 1990s 2 star Ferndown Bark squashed pot with a tapered cumberland stem. Time to clean a few pipes.
