Now smoking D&R Raccoon’s Accent in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Love the yenidje in this blend.

Did a little snacking and am now smoking Vauen No.14 Virginia Flake in a black sand blasted straight 1998 XXX Ashton lovat with a black acrylic saddle stem. I may finish the day with this smoke.

After enjoying a 1/2 batch (small skillet's worth) slice of corn bread I made from 'scratch', and some coffee, I'm heading out with my Yelo-Bole Lovat briar with some Windsail/perique. I sanded the laqueur off and finished it out with the 10 or so micro pad succession and now it's a warm natural nut brown finish that feels much more pleasant in hand.

My son gifted me the pipe. He doesn't smoke at all.

St. Bruno Flake in a Dunhill Cumberland straight apple. Sitting on the back deck listening to the birds and drinking coffee.
