Packed for later, the Lanes version of English Luxury, a sample from the 2016 TAPS show, in the first pipe I ever bought, a Tinder Box St. Ives bent pot, probably from Chacom or another French maker, a stylish pot sitter that has aged with ease
Now smoking C&D Burley Flake #4 in a 1980s Peterson 314 Full Bend black Sandblast system pipe with a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink for the rest of this day and evening. Watching the Reds-Nationals on this rainy day.
Vintage Theodorus Niemeyer's Sail Regular (yellow tin) in a sweet The Guildhall (a Comoy second) square-shanked, saddle-bit, apple briar. This pipe was my very first estate, and I purchased it years ago from Uhle's in Wisconsin. It handles Sail VERY well, and I was able to smoke it to the bottom of the bowl.
Christmas Cheer 2013 in a White Spot by Alfred Dunhill shell bent biliard. This brand should be the official pipe of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim,
Now smoking Stokkebye Highland Whiskey in a 2013 slight bend grain etched briar John Barrett Volcano with a walnut shank and a black plastic stem. This will get me to dinner time.
GH Brown Flake Liquorice in a MM second something-or-other that's already ghosted with Condor.
Temp out on the deck has already dropped below 70, Very nice evening for a pipe!
Relaxing after a wonderful chicken casserole dinner and am part way through this bowl of Cope’s Escudo in a smooth 2002 medium bend eight sided panel top straight grain Rinaldo Collection Silver Line F Egea 05 Titania bulldog with a black acrylic stem. Watching Dead Reckoning starring Bogart.
Finishing my first can of Frog Morton. I think it goes well with a mini can of ginger ale for some reason. I am new to the scene so the jury is still out on Latakia. I am not sure I want to smoke it all the time but it's a good change of pace.
