Almost finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Cheerwine is my drink on this hot and humid day.

PC Midtown Chestnut, a match to the Walnut blend now discontinued, in a Johs extra large semi-rusticated slightly bent apple; for about a year, I thought this was a brandy until I came across the invoice (this was a Christmas pipe from my wife). Johs (Mogen Johansen) says it's an apple, so an apple it is. My wife spent her career in NYC and the area, so I call it my Big Apple. The big bowl unfolds this multi-leaf blend nicely.

Now smoking McClelland Christmas Cheer 1999 in a 1970s smooth GBD 9665 slight bend with a rough top flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. Have enough left for another bowl. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

A third of the way through this bowl of C&D Crooner in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega with a black vulcanite stem. This will get me to dinner time.

Relaxing after a wonderful pork chops and pinto beans dinner with a bowl of Cope’s Escudo in a very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a smooth shank and black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.
