Mario Pascucci -P Rust-2136, finishing the last bit of Robert McConnell 5 Year Matured Virginia.
Honest, no-nonsense Virginia — rich and naturally sweet, no toppings, no drama.

Might grab a couple more tins before it suddenly disappears like half the good blends these days.
P.S.
And this is how Studio Ghibli sees me after transforming my photo 🤣🤣

Greetings to all fellow pipe smokers!
Just wanted to share a few impressions of Robert McConnell – Regent Street from the Heritage series. It’s often positioned as a clone of Dunhill’s Elizabethan Mixture — more like a respectful nod to the old classic than an actual copy. But make no mistake: it’s not a replica, not a stand-in. It’s a proper blend with its own voice and personality. Not better, not worse — just different. As VaPers go, it’s quite decent: the Perique isn’t overwhelming — no pepper bomb here — just enough to add definition and structure. The Virginias are more on the medium-bodied side: not too sweet, but with a touch of hay and a bit of spice. Doesn’t bite, doesn’t gurgle, behaves well in the bowl. If you’re looking for an alternative to Elizabethan, or just don’t feel like paying the STG price tag — this one deserves a try. IMG_4964.jpegPersonally, I remain loyal to GL Pease Telegraph Hill in this category — it’s deeper, more fermented, and more nuanced in how it handles Perique. But Regent Street really surprised me with how balanced it is — and how comfortable it feels just being itself.

Fixed it for you, everyone knows a golf course is just a waste of a rifle range😆
Ive got a 100 yard "range" in the yard. It goes between the house and detached garage, so be sure the wife isn't coming out the door. :)
Its actually a pistol range.
But I converted an old pasture into a 1000+ yard range close to the house.
I only have a few 1000 yard guns, but it seems a waste to not stretch them out occasionally. Plus, Its like when you own a truck......friends come out of the woodwork. :)
