Half way through this bowl of Wilke Back Bay w/o perique in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Dublin Sterling Canadian 264 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching a documentary about Jim Thorpe with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' near my feet.

Tree Mixture in the Royal Ascot SUPREME Algerian Briar Bulldog with vulcanite saddle stem.

After coffee went out with the brush cutter to beat back the jungle known as the side of the road leading up to our driveway. Must have passed near a ground nest of yellowjackets as one or two got up my sleeve, and yes, the wee beasties savaged me! Little does that teeny bastard know, doom is coming. I have a strict policy when this happens (yes has happened before): I hunt down and utterly destroy the hive. No mercy. Poisoned! Smashed! Trampled! Salted! Complete Scorched Earth. Yeah, my arm still smarts. These wasps are a BANE, and come late summer, a true MENACE. So goes another day in paradise, eh? 🤔
Last week I was watering the plants out on the terrace when I feel a sharp pain in between my toes, I look down at some fuzzy insect and automatically lash out with my foot to get the venomous reptile off me, and my foot goes right into a potted plant! Fortunately plastic, not terracotta, or I prob would have some broken toes. but I did bang it up pretty good. Also some cuts, because the awesome force and technique of my kick broke the pot in two, so at least I'm good on that. It was a bumblebee that got me, which has not happened in at least 12 years of constant gardening, I'm thinking I must have stepped on it to get it so angry as to sting me. RIP bee. The plant's doing fine.

Dark Bird’s Eye in a Peterson 80s. Would complain about the hot weather but to me 80f is ten degrees too hot. Don’t know how some of you survive this season
This 80s is magnificent. Would be a great companion to my 999 Army. (NOTE: not hinting )

My MN fantasy is to have an entire Summer with highs NEVER exceeding mid-70's (!!!).

Mon evening ... random (WTH) Parfait in an unnamed Meer bent Rhodesian:
Top half = Mac Baren Scottish Blend
Bottom half = McClelland Burley mixture
About to put the match to it. Like numerous other Parfaits, it's a Guessing Game, but might strike GOLD. :)
NOTE: No apologies from the Inveterate Tinkerer (!!!).
Alongside, sipping a White Rum with Diet Pepsi & a slice of fresh lime.
NOTE2: The slice of fresh lime ... which will be infused with the rum ... will eventually be added to a mug of hot tea.
Just like the Clay King has said several times, nothing gets wasted around here. :)

Enjoyed some low calorie snacking, and am smoking Watch City Jim’s Golden Ticket in a straight smooth brown mid-late 60s Corporate Era Barling 5579 London England (made by Charatan) lumberman with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Tomato the Brave fought with a blanket, then chased his tail, briefly bathed himself, chased his tail, briefly bathed himself, chased his tail, fought with the blanket again, demanded attention from me, and finally, laid down on my left foot. While I was rubbing his ears, Daisy the Feral Princess came over, plopped on the floor next to Tomato, put her belly in the air, and chirped at me for attention. After that, she wanted out which Tomato didn't like because I had to move him off my foot. I opened the door, Daisy heard thunder and rain, and the lightning scared her back inside. Abner the Eager was on top of the cat tree. I brought him in, dried him off, and he's eating now. Harry the Hairy is somewhere in the house snoozin'. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is in the bedroom.
