Haunted Bookshop in the Lorenzetti Augustus Caesar 03. Drinking black coffee and sitting on my porch. Weathers heating up a little now but still just a gorgeous day. I got a pot of cabbage on the stove, sausage,onions and potatoes all cooking in some chicken stock & spices.
Finishing up this morning bowl of Steamworks in the Miscoi full bent w/ mammoth.
Whew it’s been a busy busy weekend going to birthday parties and spending time with my special lady friend but I’ve had a lot of fun. Surprisingly not hungover today when thinking about the amount of tasty beverages I imbibed yesterday lol.
Anyways I’m easing into Sunday morning watching the TDF with a bowl of PS LNF in a Rattrays Goblin billiard and a hot cup of coffee️

Finished an early morning bit of Haunted Bookshop in an MM Emerald. Now awaiting some aged FVF in the IMP. ️

Samuel Gawith Brown No. 4 in a Peterson 68
I'm only a few crumbles into my cake personally but I really dig it so far, it reminds me of Pegasus but with a more balanced Virginia element and not as much of the brown sugar sweetness from the cavensish. Im about to smoke some in a moment myself.Love this thread for discovering new stuff to try! Thanks to several recent "mentions" of this blend (shoutout to @Roach1, @Steddy, @abecox to name a few) I'm trying out Briar Fox right now, in a 2011 Pete SPD (221).
Initial thoughts: definitely enjoying it and I know I'll finish off the tin (no, not tonight! LOL) -- hard to say until later if I'll acquire more. It seems like it might be the perfect blend for when I really don't know what I'm in the mood for -- since nothing really stands out in particular, in a good way. Anyhoo, it's a freshly opened tin, and I expect to "learn more" upon repeat smokes. It's also my first "crumble cake."

Edit to add: I usually smoke somewhat more strongly flavored blends, and when I finished this bowl, for the first time I thought to myself, "I could easily smoke a second bowl of that right away."
Enjoy the tin, it is filled with unadulterated goodness. Tobacco that tastes honest, a little rustic, a little sweet, earthy, and spicy.
