Did a little low calorie snacking, and am half way through this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a straight sandblasted black post-1938 (Comoy’s) Made in England Ancestor bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Fed all the cats except for Tomato the Brave. He'll show up before long.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked, and the model that he smoked it in. Getting ready to clean a few pipes. Tomato the Brave ate quite a bit, and is looking to avoid boredom. Daisy the Feral Priness is staring at Tomato while he attacks a basket. The other ferals are outside. Harry the Hairy was in all evening snoozin'.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2021 KBV Your Welcome in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) Canadian Club 230 eight paneled billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Currently, I am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem. I may end the day with this smoke. When I let Tomato the Brave out, I saw Shy Stripesy sitting on a chair. I talked to it for a few seconds, and it got scared and ran away. Started reading baseball box scores, but Tomato wanted attention, so did Daisy the Feral Princess. Daisy is snoozin' now. It's time to feed Sleepy Suzy.

Love this thread for discovering new stuff to try! Thanks to several recent "mentions" of this blend (shoutout to @Roach1, @Steddy, @abecox to name a few 🙏) I'm trying out Briar Fox right now, in a 2011 Pete SPD (221).

Initial thoughts: definitely enjoying it and I know I'll finish off the tin (no, not tonight! LOL) -- hard to say until later if I'll acquire more. It seems like it might be the perfect blend for when I really don't know what I'm in the mood for -- since nothing really stands out in particular, in a good way. Anyhoo, it's a freshly opened tin, and I expect to "learn more" upon repeat smokes. It's also my first "crumble cake."

Warm Darjeeling tea to drink. 🍵

Edit to add: I usually smoke somewhat more strongly flavored blends, and when I finished this bowl, for the first time I thought to myself, "I could easily smoke a second bowl of that right away." 👍

Getting ready to watch the broadcast of UFC on ESPN: Derrick Lewis vs. Tallison Teixeira, taking place at the Bridgestone Arena, in Nashville, Tennessee. Having Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding in a Briar, Sweat, and Tears (BST) Large Curve (LC) Swan Neck 3/4 Bent Billiard.

My little 1:12 scale room isn’t quite done. I’m waiting for several items from Spain, that were already supposed to be here, but got delayed in transit/customs; they will supposedly be here early next week, but I was anxious to share my little project sooner than later. This started out as a nod to @AreBee with his Syroco thrift store find, and @PaulRVA ’s little Oriental rug, often featured in his pipe photos. I posted a photo with a Syroco chair pipe rest and a less than ideal Oriental rug without real fringe a month or two ago. @Choatecav was following with interest. Not wanting to do things half-assed, I dove down the rabbit hole and decided to take things to the logical extreme and make this fun with all sorts of details (that are mutable). I got a little rug with fringe and decided I needed a room to put the chair and rug in; a smoking chair needed an end table next to it; a table needed a lamp; walls needed wallpaper, outlets and light switches, and so on. @Briarcutter was absolutely right—this could go on forever adding different items; I followed his prompt of mentioning pets, and decided my room needed to include a 1:12 scale version of our Chihuahua, Wasabi. The picture frame on the end table has pics of @JimInks and @sablebrush52 for now; other members might make appearances in these spots in the future.

This is freaking fantastic! I am going to start paying attention to the dollhouse furniture next time I go antiquing!
