I'm smoking Watch City Jim’s Golden Ticket, the blend that Ernie and I created. Naming the blend after me was Ernie's idea. Thanks, Ernie! It's an untopped, uncased bright and gold Va. with a small amount of Izmir.
Again, who ever said this forum has no value nor influence?
The Inveterate Tinkerer is thinking about 2 hybrids, to be known as Jim's MN Golden Ticket:
1) Mac Baren VA #1 with a pinch of McClelland Blending Orienta.
2) McClelland 22 with a pinch of McClelland Blending Oriental.
NOTE:
The Inveterate Tinkerer will bring a small, valued, rare jar of McClelland Blending Oriental to Pipe Club this upcoming Tue (July 15) & will make BenMN a (possibly) tempting offer. Wait for it ...
NOTE2:
Thinking the TV's at Pipe Club will be showing the MLB All Star Game. With enthusiasm spread around Pipe Club with varying levels of Baseball Fandom, Sandblast's hoping that the progression of the game won't lead to insults & fisticuffs amongst his Pipe Club Brothers.

Relaxing after a wonderful small salad, about a pound and three quarters worth of pork chops with a small baked potato and mac' and cheese dinner. Dessert was the last of the vanilla bean ice cream. I'm near the half way mark of this bowl of Watch City Simply Gold in a 1980s SMS eagle claw egg medium bend meerschaum signed by Ismail Baglan with a brown and cream swirl acrylic stem. It's way too humid for coffee, so ice water and bergs is my drink.

Its definitely TRYING to be a Savenelli.
It doesn't say Savenelli, but does have the shield with the S stamped on it, followed by Italy.
And it is one of Savinellis most popular shapes, the 920KS.
But, the shield stamp is off set and not correct. And this pipe has dozens of fills. Ive never seen a Savinelli that didn't say, Savenelli. I don't believe they would let a pipe with this many fills out of the factory, and I cannot find another pipe like it. They have a LOT of lines, but ive looked for over a decade and never found one like it.
Its a mystery to me.

In my personal opinion and speculation, seeing just the little “S” in a shield plus the “ITALY” stamp actually points toward a genuine Savinelli, rather than a fake. Here’s why I think so:
Shield “S” is official: Savinelli has long used the small “S” inside a shield as its logo. It shows up even on seconds and special‐order lines.
“ITALY” confirms origin: Authentic Savinelli pipes almost always carry “ITALY” somewhere on the stem or shank—even if the full “SAVINELLI” name and shape number are omitted.
Seconds & OEM runs: Pipes sold as seconds, or those made for specific retailers, often receive only minimal marking (shield + ITALY) and skip the full brand name and form digits.
Special series practice: Certain limited or custom series (e.g. Roma, Prestige, shop-branded) likewise might show only the shield logo and country.
If you want to be extra sure, take a closer look for:
Form number—sometimes faintly stamped inside the shank or on the tenon.
Craftsmanship details—clean machining, tight tenon fit, smooth rustication or satin finish.
Balance and feel—real Savinellis have a reassuring heft and ergonomic design.
P.S. All that said, your pipe ticks the key authenticity boxes.
