Did a set of walking reps in sweltering heat and humidity, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave and Abner the Eager took turns greeting me as I walked down the hill and near the house. They got head and back scratches. The other two ferals stayed in the shade.

I should have explained that.
Their filter System uses a 2 or 3 inch long piece of hollow maple, with a metal piece on the end to remove and replace the filter. The pourus wood is supposed to keep the pipe dry, so not so much a filter, as just a wicking system.
The tenon on the stem has the normal 1 inch tenon, then another 2 inches for the wood tube. With or without the wood tube, the pipe was extremely restrictive. If you notice, the metal part of the wood tube nearly touches the draft hole.
I cut about an inch off and it's completely wide open. I could shorten the wood and still use it. I bought it because the aromatics ive been smoking lately can have a bit of moisture. But a restricted draw is not gonna be allowed. :)

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink. Have beta tests and two C&D blends on the way for review.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked, and the model that he smoked it in. Ken Byron is in town and just came over for a visit. He obviously needs blending tips! :)
