Starting off my smoking day a little earlier than usual with a bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. The Braves-Orioles game is on Roku, and Roku likes to do early broadcasts for some reason. Fed our cats, Daisy the Feral Princess and Harry the Hairy. The last two were at the back door when I looked out the window. All day and all night thunderstorms will be here very soon, so I went looking for Tomato the Brave and Abner the Eager. They came running when I called. Picked Abner up and brought him in. Tomato walked inside on his own. M'lady is feeding them while I write this post. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Riverboat Gambler in a pipe by Lee. Drinking sweet tea. This is a really good smoking pipe, a gift I received. its got kind of an English funk aroma ghosted into it, which gives this pipe its own character. I've been mainly smoking English and Dark Fired blends in it, but with the little Tang from the Oriental in the Riverboat Gambler, this pipe really amplifies it, and pushes that flavor forward. So I really enjoyed that. Thanks again to the buddy who sent me it. I've been enjoying it a good bit.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Going to do another Peterson day, and not repeat yesterday's Petes with this one exception. No walking today due to bad weather.

Oh, man! You'd laugh if you saw me at indecision time. I walk around looking at what's open going back and forth trying to figure it out.
I can only imagine!
My narrow selection puts me into analysis paralysis…

This morning I was looking for a “perfect pairing” and wasted probably ten minutes before giving up and grabbing dad’s old “Denmark” basket slightly bent apple and shoving some Sutliff 507C in it.
It was a wonderfully ordinary putzing around smoke.

Starting out with some C&D Pegasus in a Savinelli Punto Oro 320. Our favorite swimming hole is no longer accessible at the moment so we are going elsewhere for a cold dip. If it wasn’t for my wife I would just piddle around the house on days off. She keeps me from living like a homebound old man. View attachment 403091View attachment 403092
Very nice grain! I thought it was a Radice until I looked closer.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with unsalted peanuts on the side. Then, I had a grilled cheese sandwich, a bowl of tomato soup, and a big golden delicious apple for lunch. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink. Watching the Nats-Red Sox game with Sleepy Suzy by my side. It's been raining for an hour, but Tomato the Brave wanted out, so he is. The other three ferals are snoozin' away at a distance from each other.

SWRA in a early script hyphenless Custombilt.

I liked the pouches of swra so much and the tub just tastes watered down. Both Denmark productions. Sorta dissapointing. The pouches started with a 22 code and the tub is a 24. I sort of chalked it up to batch differences, I can swear the pouches had more zing to the Virginia and more sweetness.20250706_143905.jpg
