Pipe Force Episode I, which I believe (according to the label) was launched in January 2024, but which I obtained a sample of in August 2023. In a Stanwell 212 Sixtus. No photo today because I already posted the same previously a month or two ago. I am enjoying this blend more each time I try it. Posting this update today because I followed the suggestions of other forum posters, and I set out the last two thick flakes about six weeks ago, placed them in a tobacco pouch, and let them relax in a drawer until this morning. They became noticeably drier, as expected, but not parched dust, no way. Crumbled half a flake very gently and filled my pipe, and went for a short walk through the town. Easy to light, stay lit, and beautiful Latakia and oriental aromas and flavour. A very nice blend, and I still have plenty of samples of the other five in the series. So I guess I will approach my other flakes the same way in the future, and give them a few weeks of slow drying before loading. Too bad this series is now ended, one of the many casualties of the Sutliff closure.
