I'm starting off the month with a bowl of year 2016 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a straight smooth brown post-1964 Parker Super Bruyere 88/F group 3 bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Abner the Eager was on my lap, but I had to move the li'l fella to do this post. He's by my side now.

Did some low calorie snacking, and am smoking year 2022 Solani 633 in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar post-WW2-mid 50s family era Barling’s Make Ye Olde Wood Straight Grain Made in England bulldog with a diamond shape shank and black ebonite stem. This pipe came from the estate of David Cuneo. Fed all the ferals. Tomato the Brave is laying by my feet. Harry the Hairy is roaming around the den. The others are outside. Watching the Orioles-Rangers game from earlier this evening.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple of small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Tomato the Brave jumped on my lap for attention much to the chagrin of Sleepy Suzy. She gave him the "That's MY lap" stare. Tomato ignored her until he got all that he wanted from me, and then wanted out. Suzy's happier now. Harry the Hairy was watching, too, and was a bit puzzled by it all. He's snoozin' now.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am almost a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Just fed all the cats except for the absent Abner the Eager. I'll probably end the day with this smoke. Reading baseball box scores.

Lightning and thunder. You look fantastic in that photo, with the amphitheater behind. Blessed wood-fired pizzas my friend Douglas. It makes me very happy to see you like this.🤩🤩🤩🥳🥳🥳
The Eternal City - The many parks - 25 percent of Rome is Park Land. Watching the pasta being made and turned quickly into meals, the pizza we've had, the wine, limoncello, and even the Amphora Special Reserve tobacco - it is all wonderful. I've been to all of the great cities - at least most of them. Paris, London, Rome - of the three, even Paris must acknowledge that Rome may very well be more the City of Love - and I always enjoy Paris. Rome exudes the lives of everyday people - people like you and I. Madrid and Barcelona and Seville as well - great cities all, but somehow, I will still take Rome. I think it is because nothing in the city looks down on me as being less or more than I am. But within a year or so, we will get a chance to sip on some whiskey in Southern Spain. That much is true. We can decide then. When we are finished with the bottle, we can toss it at Morocco and have another toast.

Peterson XL90 Christmas Edition 2012 + Robert McConnell Barking Road.
A classic bent shape with a festive touch — nickel band engraved with a Christmas tree. Smooth draw, well-balanced. Barking Road delivers a clean, nutty Burley-Virginia profile. No casing, just honest tobacco — dry, rounded, and quietly satisfying.
Sticking with this blend for the coming weeks, but switching up the pipes. 🙂IMG_4721.jpeg
